We have a lot of exciting news to share with you...   November has been a busy month for the MTPA team as we were delighted to take a stand at World Travel Market and host so many productive meetings. Thank you to all of those who visited our stand and of course to all of our lovely stand-sharers. This month we have lots of exciting news and though the cold is looking like it's here to stay here in the UK, the sun is shining brighter than ever in Mauritius so for those clients looking for a winter getaway, you know where to send them!     The Oberoi, Mauritius   The Oberoi Mauritius introduces "Aqua Zone" - our brand new children's heated swimming pool and play area at The Hub. We look forward to welcoming our younger guests to The Oberoi on the Sunset Coast of Mauritius to the Aqua Zone at The Hub.       Tamarina Golf & Spa Boutique Hotel   The World Travel Awards, like every year, rewards the best players in the key sectors of travel, tourism and hospitality. It is with great pride that Tamarina Golf & Spa Boutique Hotel was awarded Mauritius' Leading Boutique Hotel 2018 at this year's World Travel Awards. Tamarina wins first place thanks to registered votes from travel professionals and customers. While receiving the trophy from the hands of the organizers, Raoul Maurel, Managing Director of Tamarina hotel, did not fail to acknowledge the effort and hard work of all the staff who manage to convey an image of excellence beyond the Mauritian borders.       Constance Hotels   Constance Prince Maurice is proud to announce two illustrious awards just received at the World Travel Awards 2018; Indian Ocean's Leading Culinary Hotel & Indian Ocean's Leading Luxury Resort. Well done team!       Outrigger Mauritius Beach Resort   Outrigger Mauritius have some great savings on their half board and AI packages for bookings up to 25th December. In addition the resort now offers a complimentary massage on their All Inclusive Packages.       Kenya Airways   Kenya Airways launched an additional frequency from Nairobi to Mauritius in October. Thanks to its location on one of the island's most renowned surfing locations, Tamarin Bay, the boutique resort will appeal to surfers and water sport enthusiasts.   In total, the resort will have 116 rooms accommodating between 2 and 3 people with views facing out towards the gardens, mountains, swimming pool and the beautiful Tamarin Bay. A highlight of the hotel will be 'View' which is set to be most scenic bar in the region, with panoramic views across the bay. Serving a selection of cocktails, fresh Mauritian juices and rums, this will be a sundowner hotspot.       Heritage Golf Club   The Heritage Golf Club was awarded the title of "Indian Ocean's Best Golf Course" for the fifth year running at the recent World Golf Awards.   Jonathan Mentheath, Heritage Golf Club's General Manager, states: "We are extremely proud to have won the World Golf Award for the best golf course in the Indian Ocean for the 5th year in a row. With the number of world class golfing facilities in Mauritius and the Indian Ocean, this one feels extra special and I am proud of what our Heritage Golf Club team has achieved. We also bagged the award for Indian Ocean's Leading Destination Management Company and a nomination for World's Leading Destination Management Company. The announcement was made at the World Travel Awards Africa & Indian Ocean Gala Ceremony 2018, held on Saturday 06 October at the Durban International Convention Centre, South Africa. Voting closed on 24 October for the World's Leading DMC Award and the winner will be announced on Saturday 01 December in Lisbon, Portugal.       Air Mauritius   Air Mauritius is delighted to announce the introduction of the A330-900neo aircraft on the direct London Heathrow to Mauritius service.
